I tried playing a few times at first without realizing I could shake the window and could NOT get past the first enemy, so once I found I could shake the window, it made the game much more enjoyable! Would love to see more, really really had fun playing it

Super cool and extremely unique game. The boss's ability was sick and I loved the little chick

Pretty fun little game, the window shake made it pretty easy though. I got a shield coin after stage 2 and just obliterated the rest because I was physically impossible to kill. Still enjoyed it, though, and I hope to see more.

Yes, defense coin is a balance menace right now. I would be glad to hear any suggestions how to fix it though

The enemies hitting for more than 1 hit point might make it much less effective but still worth to use in many scenarios. Makes the later enemies more menacing too.

I would say that after you click your first coin, you can't shake again until next turn. This way it will make it more "well, I will work whatever I have here" or "I have to shake more times until the planets align and everything shows what I want it to have". Maybe with a maximum of X shakes so...?

Very cool concept for the game. I hope you will develop it and make more levels. Overall the game is very interesting, thank you

Lot of fun!! Music is delightful, the shaking windows mechanic is very interesting, and it's a pretty easy game to pick up with minimal tutorial!

Had a lot of fun on the first go around, glad I got the chance to play it!

Suffers from a lack of verity but a solid game all around.

Great game! I see no problems, and the gameplay and strategy is fun. This is coming from someone who typically doesn't like turn-based!

Great visual style ruined by annoying window shake mechanics. Player always could shake it till they get the wanted result so why bother and spend so much time?

I quite liked having to manage what was face up and in what order. Needing to plan out the turn so you didn’t accidentally screw yourself over. I can see that this mechanic could be extended in so many ways. I think it’s quite charming.

This is a very interesting game. Firstly, the style is top-notch, especially for a game-jam entry, I like the movable windows, it would be interesting to have more of them or a mechanical reason to move others besides the flip window. Speaking of that, I feel the flipping mechanic is honestly more tedium than anything, there's no penalty for wiggling away until you get what you want. Damage is sometimes unavoidable, I feel like this could be negated with either a shield option given at the start or some kind of "retreat" action that moves you in the opposite direction that you are facing.

There's a lot of mechanical depth in such a one-dimensional battlefield, I am impressed by the need to plan each and every action carefully, and glad that friendly fire can be exploited. One bug I did notice was that enemy intent was sometimes contradictory, the square they highlighted for movement was opposite of where they actually moved. I see other people had problems with the perks, I only ever used backstab, and it worked fine.

All in all, a really solid entry, there's certainly a few weakpoints, but definitely a game that stands out from the rest of the pack. Solid work, and I'll look forward to more from you in the future.

Super nice style. But the perks kinda didn't work. Had backstab but it knocked back the enemy instead. Walked into the enemy with the candy but didn't seem to do anything but waste a turn. Shield is a must it seems, no other way to heal and the damage is uavoidable from stage 1.

Would really spice things up if you can select what the second coin should be, right now push-tank is the only survivable build. Tried the backstab swap but really doesn't have enough mobility. Paperclip too hard to set up.

But enjoyable still. Gj.

Smooth turn-based strategy mini-game with a cute and silly chick character? Very nice, I'm in! Beat it first try and would probably beat it again.

Funny game of chance with strategy mechanics. Nicely done!
